Things to Discuss with a Physician

Prior to the use of Generic Hismanal (Astemizole), inform your physician if you suffer from the following conditions:

·        Bronchial asthma or a different disease affecting the lungs;

·        Low levels of potassium in your blood;

·        Retention of urine in the urinary bladder or a prostate enlargement;

·        A disease affecting the kidneys;

·        A disease affecting the liver; or

·        A disease of the heart, particularly an uneven heartbeat.

You may not be in a position to ingest Generic Hismanal  Astemizole, or you may need a dose alteration or especial supervising throughout treatment if you suffer from any of the medical problems mentioned above.

Generic Hismanal  Hismanal is classified under the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) pregnancy category C. This implies that it is not acknowledged whether Astemizole will do harm to an unborn baby. Do not start taking this drug without first speaking to your physician if you are heavy with child. It is also not acknowledged whether Astemizole excretes into breast milk. It is recommended to take Hismanal (Astemizole) after first informing your medical practitioner if you are nursing a baby.
